Valentine's Cookies

While last year was the year of the cakes, I am declaring this year the year of the cookie. My goal is to get better at decorating and making cookies. So if you have any good recipes or techniques, send them my way!

 I've started out making cookies for Valentine's Day. It was my first time trying to do the royal icing outlining/flooding thing, and it went all right, though I need some more practice getting just the right consistency.

 The snoopy on the doghouse cookie cutter is enormous - it makes a cookie as big as my face!
