We used my mom's heirloom English tea set, Katie made delicious chocolate chip scones, and had a very proper and intimate evening. It was so much fun.
Side note - I absolutely hate all of the "Keep Calm and blah blah" signs that pop up all over Pinterest and the internet, but thought that "Keep Calm and Have a Baby" was actually funny and worthy of the occasion. But the rest of them - gag me. I saw a shirt that said, "I can't keep calm because I have anxiety" and thought, there we go. That's the truth.
A pair of Sperry's that little and cute could only be from Erika.
Jordan got lots of BYU gear for her little man. She and Greg will be able to dress him in true Cougar style.
I put together this little block set for her. I'm so proud of it. I used little cars from the Target dollar section to make the taxi and double decker bus (they were originally a police car and school bus) the guards are peg people, and used basic wooden blocks for the telephone both, No. 10 Downing Street, Big Ben and the Tower Bridge.
Adorable!
ReplyDeleteI love the little block set--what a cute keepsake from a memorable shower!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh. So cute. Throw me a shower sometime! :)
ReplyDeleteI found this and I would love to be able to do those invitations. May I ask how you did them? I have to fly out to Utah in October to throw a baby shower and my sister wants London theme. This is such a cute idea. Best I have seen. My email is: sarajeangriner@yahoo.com
