Dear Linnea Farnsworth,
Congratulations! Your Freshman Portfolio Review has been completed by the Photography faculty and we are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted as a Visual Arts student in the Photography track.
I read this in the library, with Jeff. I was so happy I started crying, while he just kept hugging me over and over. I'm sure we made some good entertainment for those around us.
This whole year has been so emotionally and mentally draining, and I am so grateful to be able to look forward to my future with more certainty now. I really worked as hard as I possibly could this semester, and thankfully it has paid off. Jeff has been so wonderful to put up with me - especially during this last week of worrying and stressing and being unable to sleep.
Thank you so much to all of you who have supported me, listened to my thoughts/fears/rants/joys, and have shown how much you care during this whole process. I'm so grateful.
And nothing can get me down today. Not the rain outside, or even the gigantic run in my nylons. It's a perfect day.
Perfect about sums it up! Congrats. So proud of you and so very happy for you both! In my opinion you had a guaranteed spot (but I'm a little biased)
ReplyDeleteLinnea this is SO exciting!! :) I'm so happy for you! You are amazing!
ReplyDeleteI cried just reading this post. I'm so so happy for you. :)
ReplyDeleteWow Linnea, I am SO happy for you!! You are such an incredible photographer, I don't know why you were ever worried! :) We definitely need to celebrate!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!!! I'm really happy for you and know you will be great. Also, Zermatt is the best. It is a fun resort, and to add to it, it is located in charming little Midway. Highly recommended. :)
ReplyDeleteCongrats!! You are so talented :)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! I knew you would do fine. Oh, and the run in your nylons? Think of it as a racing stripe.
ReplyDeleteI knew you had the talent, I'm just glad your professors figured that out, too. I also hope getting crushed at Catan last night didn't ruin the day for you.
